Hi,

First off, I 'm new here and I think ur free hosting and the support on this forum is excellent!

But I have an issue regarding the use of * wildcard character in CPanel's simple dns zone editor.

I read and tried: http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/113833-wildcard-subdomains.html ,but when I type the * as input for the (host)name field, the message "That is not a valid zone name." appears.

Can someone please help me out?
Thanks!

I see wildcard entrys in the advanced dns zone editor.
I cannot edit those entry's.
You can try a wildcard entry for a sub domain, it worked for me before.
