Hey,

I have a .com domain that I purchased from another site...can I take advantage of the free hosting that x10 has to offer with 500mb of space with my domain? If so, do I need to pay a transfer fee?

Thanks,
Chase

Yes, set the nameservers of the domain to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com if you can. If the company does not allow you to set nameservers or customize the specific settings, then... I don't know!

You should be fine to set the nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com if you're using godaddy. :)
