Wix domain linking

Hi everyone, I have a domain from an external company, i changed the nameservers to 10xhosting so that i can create email accounts, i now have a wix website and tried to connect to 10x hosting by changing the ns records which would then connect through to the domain company but it is not recognizing the domain and asked me to changed AA records which i did on wix and 10x hosting side, am i doing this right ?

i may be wrong, but i think you need to have an x10 account/website
then add your custom domain to x10.
when you log in to x10 there is a pop up that has the link to add new domains
the link is https://x10hosting.com/panel/services

im not sure if its allowed to just use x10 for mail services.
maybe staff can correct me on that if im wrong.
