None of my sites are working under subdomains, I am pretty sure that my DNS CNAME records are correct in the Cloudflare panel and that problem is now on the actual server.

My .htaccess is correct (I think) but everytime I access a site like http://tech.thewoms.com a "/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi" is added to the end and shows up.

In addition to setting up the wildcard A record at CloudFlare, you also need to set up a wildcard subdomain here in your cPanel.

Without that wildcard subdomain entry in cPanel, the subdomains just point to the server but the server doesn't know what account is associated with it so it shows the default page.

Go to cPanel --> Subdomains and add * as a subdomain.

I'm not sure if this is possible because free hosting accounts have a limited number of allowed subdomains.

Wildcard subdomains aren't enabled so adding * as a subdomain won't work.

Not on free at least no, because we have a hard-set limit to the number of subdomains one can have on their account.

I'm not sure it'd work on x10premium either but that'd be a question to put in through their ticket system before purchasing cause that'll get you to the folks who know.

Hello,

Unfortunately these restrictions are in place to prevent abuse of our systems as well as preventing free users from creating as many possible subdomains as they like. As Livewire said the best option would either be asking if x10premium accounts would allow this, or a VPS. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
