Hello,

I have recently created a page in a a free hosting account and installed a Wordpress page.
The page is http://dankvideos.tv/.
I am almost ready with all the configuration but I lack certain things.

The most pressing issue I have is that when a new user registers it doesnt send the activation email with the password.

I know about SMTP and I tried a couple plugins but to no avail.

When I test the plugin with my account (an account created inside x10 cpanel->domains) it works flawlessly but when I register a new user it simply doesnt send anything. Is there a way to fix that?

Any kind of help will be appreciated and I say in advance that I am a web dev and sysadmin so I will understand technical stuff.

Thanks for reading.

Hi,

It looks like your emails are hitting a generic set of rules designed to prevent common outgoing spam emails, which is unusual for a normal activation email. Please could you PM me the email address you have been trying to send these emails to, and the full body of the email? You might also want to check the body of the email for any unusual external links.

As a side note, you can't use an external SMTP provider on free hosting; the firewall blocks outgoing SMTP traffic. You can only use email accounts present on your hosting account.

Thank you,
