Wordpress HTTP error fix!

Hi everyone,

I know there's been a problem for several weeks with uploading content to wordpress and gaining a "HTTP error"

If its images your trying to upload (which in most cases i would think it is!) here's something to try which has been working for me, it doesn't fix the problem, but its a way around it for the meantime!

1. upload your file and get the http error
2. Click on create gallery (second option on the left pane)
3. Click on the picture you want
4. then click back onto Insert Media
5. you should see the picture on the right, then just click insert into page/post (whatever)

what's the cause? Is it something to do with wordpress, the host, or .... me?

Problem with the host, nothing you can do to fix it. This work around will suffice for basic usage of the 'media' tab. However, it is still ultimately broken until the host fixes it.

Yes its a host problem! A lot seems to be going wrong with wordpress on these servers at the moment! But its free so we can't really complain!

Still got the HTTP error. I've had to host images elsewhere and insert using url, not a great solution but only thing I can do right now
