I have a Wordpress theme issue. "So contact the developer of the theme" everyone will say, but I don't think it's really a theme issue.

They have an option to change the logo. So I upload an image, it displays the image, but when I click save changes, it doesn't display the image; loads the page as if I didn't update the logo.

I tried Chrome without any extensions, I tried Firefox without any extensions, I tried disabling all Wordpress plugins, I deleted and re-installed the theme - nothing. I have a localhost install of Wordpress, so I install the theme and upload the logo on there to see if it does the same there, and bam, it works and the logo updates.

Could this have anything to do with the hosting? Or is there something else I should look into fixing this? I'm a tad confused.

x10hosting uses a Varnish front end that caches requests. That might be the problem.
Or, your browser or IP might be caching requests.

Try clearing your browser cache and history.

Frontend? Isn't it a backend as it's a server-side operation?

I remember this happening to me when I was replacing an image. What it did was that I've renamed the file and the image source in the HTML. Even though this does work, I personally don't like it that way.
