wordpress php version error

i am trying to activate wp-favicon plugin and it gives me the following error......
plugin requires at least PHP version 5.3.0, your version: 5.2.13 Please ask your hosting company to bring your PHP version up to date.
Is it possible for you guys to upgrade my php version
If yes then please do it and if no then please inform me !

Unfortunately, neither we nor you can upgrade php(your server's).
Upgradation to 5.3 is still under consideration.
