Wordpress Upgrade Issues

Guys,
this is getting a tad silly. I've gone to upgrade wordpress, and have received the following error message;

Warning: phpinfo() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxx/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2223

this has now rendered my site useless and in flux, it is neither loading nor updating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Comment out the phpinfo line by adding // infront of it in the file /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxx/wp-includes/functions.php
