Hey guys,

I know you guys are still migrating your services and maintaining it to a different panel and I fully support that (considering you’re hosting my projects, thank you ).

However since there are some services that aren’t available such as phpMyAdmin and lowered disk spaces. That’s fine for now, you’re still tweaking stuff around.

I’d like to know since my sites and DB’s have changed, can I ask for the hostname info for my DB since my old hostname (I believe it was xo3) is not available and most of my projects that don’t use localhost cannot connect to my database.

Thank’s for replying to this thread and thanks for the hard work.

- Redi (Got no clue why my name is Freed or how to change it.)

You should always use localhost for database host, as you indicate the ones that do work just set localhost on the rest. Connecting to the database form an outside source is not possible so there's no need to use any other, but x12.x10hosting.com is your new server.

phpMyAdmin should be available, under "Extra features"

It is still possible to ask for diskspace increase should you find yourself in need of it. Requirements are you use up at least half of the initial space, have a working website and that the account is more then 7 days old.

Are you suggesting that this is temporarily as you guys are migrating the systems and fixing up everything or is this function completely gone, because I'm used to logging into the DB through HeidiSQL on a day-to-day basis and it works fine until the panel rollover.

(Thanks for the quick reply though :) )

Accessing the database from an outside source should never have worked as it the port shouldn't have been open in the firewall.

Anything you have installed in your account can connect the database using localhost.
