Hi this is happening on the wp-login.php page. I believe someone may have tried to brute force login but now I can't log in to the wordpress interface to do anything about it, such as add a plugin to limit login requests. I can change the .htaccess file but this will not clear the error and renaming wp-login.php is not as straightforward as that as it involves many other pages and variables in wp.
- Can the 429 error be reset so that I can log into the site please? or will the error counter reset at some stage?
