Wrong MySQL DB count in cPanel

Rather like lithaerien (and maybe LuciFerAngel and zapzack), cPanel is misreporting the number of databases I'm using. On the MySQL Databases page, the Current Databases section is correct at two databases. However, the Create New Database section has the notice: "ATTENTION: Using 4 out of 3 available MySQL databases". I haven't seen anything in the news that mentions this issue. Fortunately, there appear to be no other problems with MySQL.

Any suggestions before this gets escalated to a ticketed issue?

The only thing I can think of is the recompile put something out of synch. I had a similar issue a while back and the staff fixed it for me pretty easily. I'll go ahead and escalate the ticket in case this is a server wide problem and not just your account, so it can be properly address.
