WWW, DNS, "default website page..."

Hello,

Do I need to change nameservers to see the website? Can I do it without nameservers changed?

What I did was:

1. add a "A" record in DNS, so www.mydomainname.com to 99.198.122.2;
2. add a "Addon Domain" under hosting cpanel;
3. when I visit site, it shows " default website page. If you feel you have reached this page in error, please contact the ..."

What can I change to make www.mydomainname.com work? Add another "A" record under x10hosting cpanel?
