You read it right

We have just launched a new proxy service located at http://www.pcriot.com ; You can use our service to get around school and work firewalls to get to your favorite sites like myspace. Our proxy is 100% anonymous and logs are deleted every hour. Try it out and give us feedback. Check out http://www.pcriot.com

So this is the newest and greatest from x10, I think its sweet.

How do you think???

I can't vote cause I know what a proxy is, but as of yet I haven't ran into any issues with my college's servers (the stuff it's filtering _deserves_ to be filtered, and they're too damn stupid to block Remote Desktop - what I can't get via college I simply get via my home pc through remote desktop XD).

Knowing it exists'll be handy though, never know when I'll need to bypass the software for one reason or another.

I have no use for a proxy service. Website filtering on my high school computers works on the honour system: We're not supposed to go to game/social networking/whatever sites ;). Of course, the honour system has many exploits and holes (the most notable being the one where you don't need to use it).

So, no, I won't use it (as of now). I'd also like to point out that filters block known proxy websites as well.

I might consider using it. My college internet connection doesn't have any filtering. But, the host high school that I work in (since I'm a Chem + Education double major) does many internet restrictions, so I will definitely consider using it there (not that I'll use it to view inappropriate things, but sometimes the filter/firewall used by NYC High Schools blocks out even legitimate educational websites too!)

x10 should also do a few different ips so people cant catch on, like a few that they have.

I mean the whole idea of the proxy service. Second of all, you suggested different IP's so that would make it harder to block!

Good Service, Good ideas!

KEEP THE UPDATES TO X10 COMING!

dude, all they have to do is block pcriot.com, and that would cover all the IPs linked to it, so that would block all of the business sites too :(
