I wish it was a few years ago when I was in highschool, they blocked so much crap. I probably won't use it since I've never run into anything blocked at the college.

This is a great service if my school weren't so gay. As of five minutes after I first went to it they have blocked it. Basically my school is a bunch of paranoid idiots who have no idea what they are doing and think anything that doesn't have the word educational in it is evil and should be blocked. Great idea but unless you get me a proxy service that can randomly change IP every five minutes and still function I'm out of luck.

I have no use for a proxy service. Website filtering on my high school computers works on the honour system: We're not supposed to go to game/social networking/whatever sites . Of course, the honour system has many exploits and holes (the most notable being the one where you don't need to use it).

So, no, I won't use it (as of now). I'd also like to point out that filters block known proxy websites as well.

Where do yo go to school? Is it a private or public school?

Because then the x10 ip will show up, and if you or somebody who ahs access does something illegal corey is screwed because its his server...

Yoy cant get onto secure servers because x10 dosnt have a secure certificate to use....as otherwise it would be pointless.

I've tried out the proxy at my host high school. They haven't caught onto it yet. However, I'm happy to report that it seems to work fine . I was able to visit 7online.com (the website for WABC-TV New York, which was blocked with the school's filter) and other websites with PCRiot.

The x10 proxy service comes really helpful in schools as i can view all the pages i need espically US ones that have strange settings
