Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be a good idea if we could also put x10 Radio on PSPs. What do you guys think? If you are unsure on how PSPs play Internet Radio, tell me and I can upload a video of how they do it using original Sony firmware from Network Update.

I don't think any streaming music can be done using the NORMAL psp browser. I know a way using homebrew but it would be a pain to spread it out then having sony patching the homebrew =/

I'll upload a video later today to show you how you can listen to Internet Radio. It's a bit early in the morning right now so I don't feel like popping out my camera. As for doing it as in getting it onto the PSP, then I don't know. Google will have to do that. I think there is some kind of program you can get from Sony that you can set up and distribute to people to run on PSPs.

I have a PSP but sadly there is no WIFI Hotspot close to my house. But I still think its a good idea!

(Well there is a McDonalds by my house, but they suck!)

As for homebrewing the PSP; as a Game Developer, I desipse all hacking.

Apparently it's possible without modifying anything: http://stuff.tv/News/Internet-radio-heading-for-UK-PSP/

ooh nice find. I haven't updated my PSP in a while so I wouldn't know if this was available in the US or not haha.

Homebrewing isn't hacking the PSP, it's like just changing the OS of the PSP. Emulating on the other hand is badly looked upon, because your basically just stealing games and then playing them without having to buy them. Big difference if you've never modded your PSP before.

If you do have a high speed connection that can at least do a solid 192kbps, then get yourself a cheap $20 wireless router that will cover your house and the lawn.

Otherwise, I found this on YouTube since I'm a bit busy tonight to record a video with other gaming things, so here's what you do to listen to music on a PSP.
