x10control inaccessible + not able to signup x10free

hey hey hey!

Few q's here for you:

1: Why can't i signup a free account? Gives me with quite load of usernames this "error" --> "unfortunately we do not allow users to have more than one hosting account at a time. You can manage your current hosting account through our account panel."

does this mean something that "i have an account already on my unregistered username even if it's free" or something like that? Or is it based on ip's? I'm not sure if i have dynamic ip or not, but if you get ip with registered account on it, does it count as you would have registered one already regardles the state of desired username?

2: Your x10 control panel is down. This is what i got when trying to log in a while back:

I'm not sure I understand why your first question is a problem at all. With your second question, it looks like you do admit to having a hosting account already. If you could please read our TOS, it'll clearly say that:

1. Server Usage

Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Personal account holders are not permitted to resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads. x10Hosting reserves the right to refuse service and/or access to its servers to anyone. Each individual is allowed ONE account only. x10Hosting does not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers.

What username do you have in use, just to verify since the forum account you've used to post this support thread has no hosting account?

I know that a single user with registered username and valid email can't have more than one hosting account (so-called unwritten rule of somekind). Problem is (otherway around): First I tried to use this present username to register for a free hosting, but couldn't register one with this username through x10 home OR Free Hosting registering site (gave the error I quoted). After that, I registered into forums using the username I wanted to use to reserve it for myselfto use in free hosting account.

How can I get the mentioned error in first place, if the wanted username was available, but still it couldn't be used to register a hosted account? As you said, I don't have an account for this username because I couldn't register one via the ways I just described above.

EDIT: As I said that you have x10 control down, I read somewhere earlier posts that I could've used this to login to x10 control panel, but propably I just misunderstood that.

EDIT: That method was mentioned in Zubair's "Getting Started" guide.

EDIT: Ok, now I got access to x10 control panel, but instead of having a succesful login there, I get "Invalid email address or password supplied.". That doesn't really fit in my comprehense of Zubair's guide.

UPDATE: Oh I got it to work this time. Just let it be for over a night and now I've pending hosting acct and linked forums acct in x10 control panel (amp). Last night it didn't let me login to x10 control with my forums user or email, this morning it worked with email. Yet to be tried if i can now login with only username as I have it linked.
