Well, i assume you code, as your on a forum which hosts websites.
Now i'd like to think that you code your websites, instead of using templates?

anywho.
do you prefer html? or xhtml?
xhtml was designed to improve floors in html?
but do you like html's ease.

I personally prefer html, vent ur arguments ;)

I like XHTML much better because it is more organized, expecially making <br> into <br />, <hr> into <hr />, ect, made coding much more understandable. The only thing I hate is the declaration. I still have not memorized how to do that and I probably never will care to. Unless I am using dreamweaver that does it for me, I am forced to code mainly in HTML.

I have always just used a mixture of both.
It just depends what I am doing, if it is something quick that I'm doing then I'll simply use normal HTML. Anything more complicated, I'll use XHTML.
Thing is I never notice I'm doing this so, yeah. I like both.

I prefer XHTML. Because it is clear. XHTML introduced to end the compatibity issues with different browsers. It is very clear language.
And its DTD(Document Type Definition) is meant to the browser how to render the page....which version we used etc...And the result will be the page...as how the programmer wanted it...not the browser.

Yeh, that last line of your's really makes me consider which i prefer more, because i've always learnt html and none other and well that factor there, makes me want to move on to xhtml.
*Heads off to w3schools.

I would definatly have to agree...
XHTMl is alot more organized..but it takes alot longer to type
:lockd:
But it is more efficient than regular HTML...especially after you are done..it is easier to add more to it..and it is easier to stick more PHP into your browser and such..
Thats my opinion:thefinger
