XMPP Not Working

I was just checking the XMPP using PHP. I got the script from code.google.com
But it is not working ? Is TCP blocked in free hosting?
This is the error message.
1260272897 [INFO]: Connecting to tcp://talk.google.com:5222 1260272897 [ERROR]: Could not connect.


Please advice

TCP isn't blocked in Free Hosting, however I'm positive that particular port is being blocked by the server firewall. They do that to keep down on abuse and usage. The only ports that the server seems to have unblocked are the ones of course used for the hosting such as cPanel, HTTP, Mail, and for things like Akismet. Though unless Corey's willing to unblock ports, you'll need premium hosting such as a VPS.

Corey does notice threads from time to time. I'm not sure if he'll be all that willing to unblock the port, but if a certain feature does become a must want feature for many of the members, I'm sure he'll have no problem unblocking it.

If you want me to see if I can get his attention, I can.
