You can not delete the contents of directories

Good afternoon grupoafd user, and am trying to delete the contents of directories and will not let me remove it either by FTP or the File Manager control panel.

I'm interested in removing the contents of the following directories

/ public_html / comercial.actividadfisicodeportiva.com
/ public_html/pr16

We would like to know how we can delete the contents or not to eliminate
