"You don't have permission to access / on this server."

I have just created an account and installed phpBB3 on my server. Whenever I try to access it, though, I get a message saying "You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Can someone please tell me what has happened?
