Looks like more widescreen Monitors are coming forward, also seems to be the majority of 19" ones. Must be a comfortable size as i have one now, Also just setup a computer with a 17" screen thats really nice as well, not much difference to the size really that i notice i think if i went for the 24" then i would have noticed. My gaming rig uses a 17" ASUS one and thats really comfortable and easy on the eyes, have to say it looks funny on games if you set the wrong resoloution because i had mine set to 1024 x 768 on counter strike and men where larger than normal hehe, Anyway if your looking into a new monitor i would recommend a LCD 19" widescreen they are hard to beat! good for gaming and great for films! as for my resolution its on 1400x900

Regards,

Disturbedart!

Dual monitor, 1280x1024 + 1680x1050. Will be 1680x1050 + 1680x1050 when that monitor I got for Christmas arrives.

Laptop at 1600x1200, and desktop at 1280x1024. Kind of an even split between me using them.... Desktop gets more use for playing games, but can sit anywhere with laptop, so I tend to use it for work more.

1280x1024 works great for me. Many sites are designed for this now but I use a liquid layout on my site that even fits 640x480!

My laptop HP DV5000 1280x800 (15.4")
My desktop 1280x1024 (17")
Using a computer has high resolution is better for graphic and game.

you need the separte screen resultuions for the widescreens

mines a 1440 X 900

but because you havent included the widescreen's as different sizes it will be inconclusive

change the poll to get better results
