Do you use Transparent png's for your site?
in table bakground.... is simple and beatuy...
Sometimes. I use them more in sigs though... I despise using JPEGs and GIFs...
Yes. I usually use them only logo, as it takes less time to load the logo over a repeating line of gradient.
Yes, always! I love them! I can't live without them! LOL!
you are realy fuuny..... lol
I sometimes use them, depends on the situation really.
Let me rephrase myself... I don't always use transparent PNGs, but I always use PNGs.
Looking over this more, I would have voted on always. Just because people are stuck in the past (IE6) doesn't mean we should be either Technology is always advancing, and if they can't keep up, then phooey w/ them
Yeah me too!
Yep that's exactly why I had started this poll, I wanted to know how many web designers care about IE6 compatibility let alone overall IE compatibility!
I find PNGs extremely useful and if users cant display them properly, it's time that they updated their software (windows update should upgrade them to IE7 anyway)
i always use pngs, but they can cause problems in ie. so i use a conditional css file and use gifs for ie. but for everything else, png.
There's a quick and easy fix for transparent PNGs in IE<6. You can find it in this post http://forums.x10hosting.com/graphics-webdesign/94853-web-design-resource-guide.html#post520137
