Hi

I have a Gallery 2 hosted at URL http://digitaljit.x10hosting.com/mygallery/main.php

It was working fine till now. But today I created a new album. When I uploaded the album thumbnail and click on theve button, the page goes blank. Even if I refresh tha page, it stays blank. :dunno:

What can be the issue. Please help me fix this as I do not want to reinstall the Gallery afresh again.

If you want you can register yourself at the Gallery to test. Please use login name as "x10tester" so that I know and can activate your account for testing.

Thanks in advance.

Warm Regards

Look in the error log found in cPanel and see if there are any errors about blacklisted functions.

I am not have much linux knowledge so can't makeout what those errors mean. But I understand that a certain function called "exec()" is blacklisted.

Please help me fix this as it is a lot of pain for me to delete the gallery and re-create from scratch.

Thanks again in advance for helping me out. :happysad:

I'm sorry, but the function exec() is disabled for security reasons on our free servers.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. But then how do I use the Gallery, which I installed from Fantastico. :dunno:

Will deleting and recreating the Gallery resolve the issue? I really like the Gallery application and still want to maintain my photos in it. :happysad:

Thanks in advance.

Its so say...:dunno:

no reply from L2 support yet...

Ok. I will install a new gallery in a different directory and check if all is working well then...

...as L2 is unable to help me...

...I will delete the existing Gallery and redo from scratch...

...AGAIN!

Just one suggestion, please do not remove functions without being unable to provide a solution to issues that will effect already installed packages.

Thanks though.

Please login to the AMP and request the PHPv3 (Intermediate) PHP version, telling why you need the exec() function.
