Texas is not a bad state, though I've honestly never been to that state. I do have some family friends down there though, but they seem to enjoy it, other than the occasional hurricane that comes by and that snow storm last year

I live in the middle of nowhere in Arizona. I'm like exactly halfway between San Diego, CA and Phoenix, AZ which are both almost 4 hour drives But I do live like 10 minutes from the Mexican border lol. It's fun going down there and buying cheap liquor haha. I also like going down there to buy Absinthe, then selling it over here for huge profits
