Account Problems - Addon Domain Removal Request, Emailbox Removal Request

Hi there,

I wonder if you could arrange for a domain name removal from my account. I did have jamiegilhooly.co.uk listed as my domain for my account under addon domains. Since the migration, it has disapeared from the addon list but when I try to re add the domain, it fails saying that it already exists.

I've also got a mailbox for enquiries@lornagilhooly.co.uk that is on the list but it is not required anymore, when I try to remove it from the list it says that it does not exist. Could you arrange for this to be sorted please? If it would be easier for your to cancel the account so I can re sign up then by all means do so. I've backed up all my data.

Hello,
Its due to some server migrations you are facing difficulty in removing domain.Try again later ,if not pot back here.And no need to cancel account for this.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will wait for the domain name issue to be resolved. Can you please arrange for the mailbox issue to be investigated?

I hope you should also be able to remove it once your other problem is resolved.

Whilst I see your point Vishal regarding this, I'd rather get my website back online as soon as possible. I have two questions I would like you to answer for me please:

* Should I request an account cancellation, will it disassociate jamiegilhooly.co.uk with the account and therefore allow me to reassociate it with the new account I setup?

* What sort of timescales would it take to cancel the account for me? I know the proceedure to follow for this.

The reason I ask this is that lornagilhooly.co.uk is now associated with it's own account as primary domain under the user lornamg, I now forsee this being a problem in removing the email account mentioned above.

I suppose you could say that I am impatient. Sorry :)

Hello i think there is no need to cancel account. Once your parked domain is removed you can use it anywhere you want.

-> The deletion of account are done by Account Managers ,We can just Escalate your request to them.
We cannot provide a specify ETA for it.

Your main domain http://hoolieco.x10hosting.com is working

I appreciate that I raised this issue on Saturday but it has now been a week since I first noticed the problem. Can this issue be referred to an account manager please to check out the two issues I have.

The issue with the mail does occur when an addon domain is removed, without prior deletion of e-mail address. Only an administrator can solve that (I have not been able to find any option available to me at least). I will try and get a hold of one of them as soon as possible, but it may take a bit as they are busy getting the final bits of the migrations done.

I'm sorry that you have been kept waiting, unfortunately our response time on support has been a bit longer during the migrations, due to that taking time.

The domain being added to a different account does not, to my knowledge, make it more difficult to remove the e-mail address from the original account. However as stated in TOS, you are only allowed to have one free hosting account, so if the other is yours as well that is a breach of TOS.

Thanks for the reply Anna. I would not worry about the time. The advocates have been super. I thought on the basis that the migration was in a better state that it is made out to be that I should escalate this as a problem.

Regarding the TOS. The account 'lornamg' is officially registered to my mother. This should have been done at outset but I ended up using the addon domain facility on cPanel as an alternative until I could be bothered to setup an account.

Can you please refer my other problem surrounding the jamiegilhooly.co.uk domain problem. I attach a picture of what I can see on cPanel. As you can see. addon domains is listed as 0 however under the email boxes control panel it still shows as configured. Also the mailbox that cannot be removed.
