Hi
For the last couple of days I am not able to login through FTP. It says: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Would request the admin to help figuring out the problem.

FYI:
My domain name: bluebirdtourism.x10.mx
FTP user name: ftp.bluebirdtourism.x10.mx
Password: Cpanel password

Thanks a lot in advance.

That would be an incorrect username. If you did not create a ftp user in cPanel (would be in the form user@bluebirdtourism.x10.mx) you should be using your cPanel username as ftp username, what you used is simply a domain which you can use to access ftp.

Hi
Sorry for the wrong info. The username I am using is bluebir2 which is my cpanel username. Still not able to login. Same error.

Thanks

The FTP details you need for FileZilla or other FTP client:
Host: (your account's primary (main) domain) or (your server's IP) - Port: 21

Protocl: FTP - File Transfer Protocol

Encryption: Use plain FTP

Logon Type: Normal

User: (your cPanel user name)

Password: (your cPanel password)

Using the same details mentioned above I was able to login couple of days back as well. But suddenly everything goes wrong and was not able to login any more.
