Sorry to open another thread, since no one was responding to my prior request.

I was trying to get unlimited space for my website, which is for non-profit photo hobbyists. And most of the images are hosted from Flickr. So we will not use too much disk space here. I just need to have more space so I can expand the forum in near future.

My site was changed to unmetered space yesterday after 7 days:

but later it went back to 512MB disk limit. I was very surprised.

Is there anything you can do to honor the unlimited space? I was reading the rules, and I believe I met all the requirements: I have my account over 7 days and I used over 50% of the current space limit.

https://x10hosting.com/support/account/plans-upgrades-explained

1 On our free hosting service, disk space is initially limited at either 512MB or 1024MB. Users may request for unmetered disk space once they have used over 50% of their current disk space limit, and have had an account for over 7 days.

Thank you so much for your help!

thank you for your attention. but I still see 512MB disk space. can you check? thanks!

also sometimes we received error messages like this:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

what's the cause of this? any way we can fix this? thanks.

sorry to bother you again.

1) Just checked Cpanel status, my site is still with 512MB space only. can you please make sure it is unmetered?

2) is there any way to downgrade php to 5.3? i only see version 5.4 and 5.5.

Thank you very much!

Hi,

Sorry about that; it looks like the upgrade didn't process completely. Please check again. :)

We do not support PHP 5.3 because of how old this version of PHP is. PHP 5.3's initial release was in 2009, and it doesn't make sense for us to support it now, especially since it has reached End Of Life (EOL). The majority of scripts made in PHP 5.3 will work in later releases, so this should be fine. ;)

Thread merged.

Thank you,
