No that wasn't it, but I have now figured it out. Hotmail blocks all mails from .x10.bz, so I sadded my email address I created in cp to the allowed list in hotmail and it worked straight away. Hope this helps others.

I am having problems with the forums 'database failure' also, and trying to transfer on ftp saying disk full which I saw someone else mention but it wouldnt let me reply.
