My host tracker account emailed me at 5:30 this morning that the server was down and it's still down now so it's been down for the past 7 hours. any word on this at all? today is a really bad time for this to happen for me... i really needed the server to be up in good order today...

I'm confused... I just checked my CPanel and I still have unmetered diskspace... I'm not complaining, 'cause I don't even used 200mb for my site lol, so the 1GB limit is just fine by me. However it doesn't seem to affect me. Just a little odd is all.

ya know i agree with most of your points. However i have been at free hosts that were capable of delivering better up time than x10, simply because they used a load balanced server farm to serve up the websites, meaning they almost never went down. It was nice and redundant, good and fault...

I'd be all for this, as long as no inappropriate ads started popping up. I've been at hosts where something similar to this was used, and because of the inappropriate content on the OTHER members websites, my website started to show some rather risqué ads that i really didn't want to be there...

nope, this is all me, hand coded. The gibberish filler in the page came from MS Word, using the function "=rand(3,4) <enter>" i just filled it with random text. OF COURSE! block out the anchor tags! makes sense, thanks for the tip!
