At this moment in time, you are not eligible for the upgrade.
Please read http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/173837-account-upgrade-policy.html , particularly the 3rd...

No, you do not have to post every month, this requirement has not been in place for a long time.
You do, however, have to access the account management panel available at the top of our homepage at http://x10Hosting.com/ once a month.
CPOwlix - I cannot see a hosting account linked to your forums account, and neither http://simguru.x10.bz/ or http://simguru.x10.mx/ loads with a client website for me. When did you sign up, and have you used the account successfully since?
If you just signed up in the last 24 hours or so...
Please note that also, as always, you can try getting live support using our irc service.
This is accessible from the x10Hosting IRC website (link just below in my forums signature) then the Web Gateway link, or use your own irc software using the details available there.

Oh dear - I'm using IE9!
I can't see why that would cause an issue, though...
And I don't have any special access to the support ticket site to investigate the second problem - please try closing this thread using the menu at the top (Thread Tools) and see if that works.
Interesting - I've not seen that before... As you say, it's intermittent this may be difficult to track - site looks good though :)
I've hit refresh a few times and not seen any errors come up - if you're able to make note of the times (and your timezone) when this occurs, it may help diagnose...

I've been a member since 10-02-2007 (whether that's February 10th or October 2nd I don't know...either way, a long time). I don't think that makes me a veteran though!
There have been a lot of changes made since then. There have been highs and lows, but from what I can tell things seem to...
My response was quite clear...
Thanks, I haven't been on Free for some time...
You should be fine - if you get stuck there's always someone who can help and you can also click on to our live chat IRC server using the link in my signature just below or at the top of the page ('Chat').
I don't have an account on a free server so can't confirm this but if it is available you can configure your site to use x10Hosting's DNS and redirect incoming emails (MX = Mail eXchanger) to a 3rd party service.
You can register your own domain and add it, in which case your x10hosting subdomain is kept for back up purposes, for example: if your domain expires and you require access to your files.
Regarding emails...the set up here does provide customers with email accounts. However, if you would...
As long as you adhere to the terms of service and acceptable use policy, it really is unmetered.
There may be some checks of you shoot to the top of the rankings for a resource to make sure it's above board but if it is...well, that's what's advertised.
