The forum thing appears to be something to do with the SQL code contained within the pages/db. Perhaps re-installing the forums might fix any problems you have. Normally, a re-install over the current files would work. If it still doesn't work after this, then post back here!

Ahhh, I have come to the conclusion that it is either down to what advertisement is being displayed or that they have fixed the problem. I have not had the problem, since they changed the adverts from, what I think is bravenet to something else!

Yeah it looks good. One of the things that I would reccommend on changing is the main logo at the top of the page. I think the text needs changing to a slightly smaller size, and a different font. Other than that I cannot see any problems with it really!

Several things could be improved ... First things first, Remove the IP thing on the main page. If you are going to offer that you might as well put it on an entirely seperate page! Secondly, Colours, layout and logo want changing! Little things like that will improve your website!
