You gotta realise the huge amount of domains godaddy SAYS they own are MOSTLY domains THEY purchased themselves. That isnt their amount of customers. Im not sure where I heard that they are having financial troubles, although some good googling could probably dig something up.

Yeah u need to be careful, lots of laws against spamming people. Dont want 1000 people taking you to court. Jail is not fun. If you are going to harvest emails for spam make sure that when they AGREE to give you their email, in your tos it states you will give their emails away for marketing...
