    Delete the file index.html. Upgrade your php version to intermediate at http://x10hosting.com/account In phpmyadmin delete any smf tables. And then you should be able to reinstall SMF.

    The pages need to be visible on pages your users will go to. Not having it on googlehostedservice.html is fine since people wont go there.
