Install and run ccleaner. Not only should it speed up vista a bit, it will also tell you everything you need to know about your processor, ram and graphics card.

And it has some trouble rendering flash player in my experience. But other than that, it's not too bad. The main reason I don't use it is because it lacks all the plugins available for firefox.

Wow, yeah. Even on linux, 3 virtual machines on a full OS is going to be rather taxing on the ram. ;) You're pretty brave to do that. :D

Re: Count to 50 51, I agree! I'll do that since I have some more sig space. Being 90 can be fun, depending on your view of eternity. For those who don't believe anything else exists, it can be scary for them. You bet. In today's culture of people being called kids until they hit 21 or 22...

Which distribution did you try to upgrade too? Some, like Linux Mint have incredible driver support. Edit: One of us should put this into our sigs! :D One question, what was the processor on computer 2? Predictable. ;)
