    Server Side Includes and Dreamweaver

Basically, I want to add SSIs to my site so I have to do less programming. I created footer.html and used <!--#include virtual="includes/footer.html"--> to embed it into index.html in dreamweaver - but this just breaks my div tags in the code display. Help? Edit: problem solved. Saved as...

    A School Website

Widescreen. IMO, people should learn to design for all computers. A good design looks good on all computers. This would be one of those designs if it did. You could just set a background colour as the red from the table borders in the css, and problem solved :)

    December 21, 2012...

Meh. Because the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, doesn't mean it's correct. That's like me saying 'the world will end in forty seconds, brace yourselves' - I'd like to see how they calculated that. Sun storms? The sun has been around for aaages, and still has aaages to live, so a few 'storms'...

    My site's banners

Changing the URl text doesn't change the URL ;). The REAL links: Some of the images are a bit blurry and the text is sometimes off, but it's good.

Your view on Georgia Vs. Russia conflict

What? You mean Georgia, surely. From my understanding, this is what happened: > South Ossetian rebels 'rebel' > Georgia declares war on these rebels > Russia doesn't like that, because it is sympathetic to the rebels > Russia moves in and removes Georgia, and invades Georgia, to show them who's...

    What do you think?

Protip: Design for every visitor. Not just those with a certain display. The transparent content box is nice though. But Times New Roman makes children cry ;_; And the yellow/black banner is hard to look at, and it appears that there's a vertical line in the middle.

Does anyone use low resolution anymore?

To be honest, I don't like sites which design for specifically one resolution. It would only display how it's meant to on that specific resolution. Too wide for those below, too narrow for those above. That's why I design my sites in less than 800 across, or use variable widths.

    Disabling view soruce

Even if you do manage to stop people right clicking or control+u ing, you can't stop them from saving the webpage and opening it up in Dreamweaver or Frontpage, for example.

Does anyone use low resolution anymore?

I have 800 x 600 on this computer. It's a bit annoying when I have to scroll sideways. :/ Besides, 800x600 is easy to design for.
