i'm gonna go out on a limb and say PHOTOSHOP (because it was his proof in `review my site`) :) chances are, if you see a great looking image with special fx, then it's photoshop or another high-end photo manipulation program ;)

Don't take this the wrong way, but you're offering to design peoples web sites and graphics, meanwhile you need others to do your graphics? Someone comes along, see's what a great job _someone else did_, they contact you (maybe it's your first client, so you don't have a portfolio yet), then...

what game do you guys play? i don't like the current layout, but i'm intrigued (because i enjoy racing games). the fonts are enormous and they're squished. the logo isn't bad though ;)

why do you have restrictions on the sizes of what we want done? that would be a deterrent, especially the bg, since most comps are at or above 1024x768 (widescreens being 1440x900 or 1280x768) also, as cold said, without previous works done, there's not gonna be many bidders :-/

windows does not have chmod options (it's a *nix thing).

that would be a password stored in the db. unix stores the user's passwords somewhere in the /etc/ folder (i think it's /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow, but i could be wrong). a google search should come up helpful :)

the pixomania? it's too wide, so it's stretching the div, thus putting the text where the div starts (because it's stretched, outside the box). simple fix should be to make the image smaller :P
