meh, i7 i don't care about. i've got a quad core intel w/ a 9800gt and 4gb ddr2 ram (although windows only detects 2.5gb), and it runs at high fps for me (max (125 fps limit) on cod4) and even higher on other games. i haven't played crisis so i can't comment.

unless you're modem is built in, like mine :'(. it's an actiontec for fios. if it's a modem though, then it's your provider that's blocking the port (and there's nothing you can do to bypass it).

hmm, nah. i don't install programs unless i know what it is. the only graphics editors i use are made by adobe or if it's avail on linux (gimp, inkscape, blender), or big named ones (3dsmax, sony vegas). if i'm still unsure, i always google the app and make sure that if it's ok that i get it...

x10's mysql servers only allow a connection from the same server. you have to set the host to localhost. you could make a script that would require some sort of authorization, then have that parse the mysql commands and give you feedback from it.
