Well I'm not surprised! It clearly states in the TOS that illegal content is not allowed at x10 hosting. Other than removing that illegal content and contacting the official support there is nothing more anyone can do in this section because this is UNOFFICIAL support.

You could be using the wrong password. You could be trying to connect to the wrong url. FTP could well just be down - although you say you've not been able to access it for ages. I shall close this now. If you need more help on the matter, please open a new thread.

Depending on the forum software you're using there must be a folder for the theme, find a file in that folder such as footer.php (or whereever you'd like the ad to appear - eg: in the header (header.php)) and stick the code in that file then it'll be on all pages when it's needed.

That shouldn't matter. Although, I don't know what would be causing the ads not to show. If you're that worried open a ticket however don't expect an answer right away as the staff are extremely busy back there.
