18 year age restriction on spores online functions!

And as I said on IRC, and Spartan Erik says here, how can they verify that your age/DOB that you enter is actually your real age/DOB? IE., why not lie? And anyway, isn't this grounds for a refund?

multipass: What makes you think you have the final say on anything just because you say the Almighty has said so? Saying it's the way it is because that's what God intended is very closed minded and not in the spirit of open discussion. Sure, I can see the point of religion, but it's not the...

    Uninstalling IE8

Trying to update from a previous version of IE8 to the new beta, I discovered there to be no entry on the list of programs to uninstall for IE. Found this, and it might be of use to someone else: FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-8*.mum /c "cmd /c...

    Chrome launched by Google

Sounds like IE8 on Vista. It has protected mode, plus if the website in a tab has an eppie, you can close it without killing the entire browser. And a lot of the time, it'll recover the tab too. Unless it's a repeat offender, then you'll be wanting to hit stop a load of times.

Do you want to know what the best way to prove it's yours is? Seal it securely in an envelope and post it to yourself. If you can, get a premium postal service too (Royal Mail [in the UK] seem to be getting a bit tardy...) like Next Day Recorded (signed for) delivery. Sure, it'll cost a bit...

I have ubuntu on my laptop and so far it's average. Flash videos (ie, youtube...) is slower than under Vista, trying to go full screen with video in any player causes the player to exit (changing from the Compiz WM to Metacity seems to fix that). Second time I booted it up it said something...

    Who likes Frontpage?

Here's the thing, not all of us want/need all the features a professional WYSIWYG editor like dreamweaver provides, or any of this Web 2.0 malarky, and on a price vs features comparison, Expression Web (FrontPage no longer exists...) wins, plus it's cheaper too.
