That is a very good looking site you have there. I agree that the icons on the right could do with being scaled down a little. Also, the glowing text in your logo doesn't quite fit in with crisp edges of the rest of the site.

More details, such as what server you are on and how long you have been experiencing this issue for, will probably help diagnose a problem more easily. It is very likely that the server is either down for maintenance or has a high load at the moment.

I am on Lotus too and I can vouch for it generally being quite reliable. This downtime that it seems to be experiencing today has not seemed to be the norm.
Edit: I also seems to be back up now, albeit a tad slower than usual; probably due to the httpd just restarting.
Ok, is the username you are using linked to the database?
If it isn't, then you need to link it.
If it is, try unlinking the user from the database then reassign the privileges.
