You need the starting page of your portal to be in either index.html or index.php - or, a file of that name which links to it but then they would need to click on something to see it.

Correct you can only have 1 account but you can change the host/x10 domain etc via http://x10hosting.com/account

it also says in your post So its hit the max FTP users its going to let in for now.. Perhaps it sees your repeated attempts to ftp in as an attack and it being a little sensitive while you're being perhaps a little eager?

whats your cpanel login? You have no account linked to your forum account, we would need to know that, so we can find which server you are on etc.

If your ftp client opens more than 1 connection after a very short time our firewall will be annoyed with you and block you for a bit, all connections then to your site will fail.

You can put a link to a site which contains an official link, for example, take http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hancock/ - sony OWN the film, so, you can link to that, you cant embed the movie, etc, but you can link to it saying something like "this looks like it could be a great film" etc...

I assume you stoli is *not* that down. dns is up, ftp is up, http is up, cpanel is up.. nope its looking very up to me.

When you log into the http://x10hosting.com/account page, make sure you login with your forum details, if you can log into your cpanel you should be fine to make your website.
