Looks good, I like it. It is a bit dull though.

I normally use SourceForge for downloading stuff. But the quickest way is to use Google and just search for what you want.

Although once the new site is launched the signups will be simplified, so that should remove the need for such a thread.

You do not need to post to keep your account active, all you need to do is login to the Forums at least once every two weeks. If you are suspended for Inactivity you should be able to unsuspend yourself by going to your site, Clicking the "check suspension reason" button, typing your cPanel...

I had a similar problem and re-installing Gallery2 fixed it. You should also check that it knows the path to the GD binary.

Nice sites. The reason you couldn't see mine is that Absolut is currently down. The only plugin that I currently can't find a free version for 1.5 is the Auto-Archive thing. I would really like that, but I don't want to have to pay.

I got a free 3 year subscription to McAfee SecurityCentre when I bought my Laptop (Jan 2007) and so far I really like it. There were a couple of annoying bugs/things that could be better in the earlier versions, but these seem to have improved. I've never used Norton, but I have used ZoneAlarm...

I always have the latest version of Joomla on my website (http://earthtimegames.co.cc), and the only problem I found is that most of the plugins etc only work with 1.x I would recommend using 1.5 because it's just nicer :-P (It's also probably more secure)
