Can't access my cpanel neither my webpage

It could still be a DNS issue. The only way for him to tell if it's a DNS issue or a filter issue would be to run a trace route. Proxy services will use their own DNS servers which do tend to be real-time 99% of the time.

    Why cant I log in?

Your URL is pointing towards another host's servers (rDNS shows up as secureserver.net). If you are using x10Hosting, have you updated your domain's nameserver settings? I checked your site's rDNS twice by forcing a lookup twice in my router, so things haven't changed on it yet if so.

    Damn starka testing

Hey Corey if you ever need to do testing on Lotus, you're free to use my account. It's barely used much anymore and I really use it for messing around with scripts.

Help with my hp pavillion dv2000

Sounds like the same problem many other laptops seem to experience these days due to the poor cooling many notebooks have these days, from Thermal Shutdowns to of course, the solders failing on the boards. What happened to the days where the air intake for the fan was on the side of the laptop...

Show her some advanced maths of cost per megabit vs. download speeds, as well as hammer away at your connections download and upload simultaneously by seeding/downloading a crap load of torrents to slow the connection to a crawl >:3. What are your Laptop's Specs?

Here is the 11 year old laptop I have. It was a hand-me-down from a relative. I'm looking at a new laptop to replace this one as it's slowly failing due to it's age and use now. Refurbished Dell Inspiron 3800GT 10GB Maxtor HDD. 192MB of 200Mhz RAM (is at 128MB due to the RAM slots failing when...

    Cannot extract zip file?

Looks like you're trying to update SMF inside of SMF itself. You could try installing the update manually via FTP. I have SMF 2.0 running on my x10Hosting account, the most recent version (SMF 2.0 RC1.2) and I've been updating SMF via FTP for ages. Back when I was on my home server I had a...

    Who Here Grabbed Windows 7?

I had to send a copy of the Windows 7 ISO to one of my IM friends last night as though he had gotten a key from Microsoft, he had forgotten to download the ISO (didn't have the time). But otherwise, Windows 7 will be here in no time now :)

    Remote MYSQL DB Access

At the moment, Remote MySQL is disabled and not usable on the free hosting accounts. I did hear though if I am recalling correctly that when Corey is able to get around to it, he may enable Remote MySQL. Don't set your hopes too high for this though

It depends on the work load the staff is dealing with. It will take anywhere from an hour to a day.

    HDD upgrade

If your system supports at least SATA II, I would shoot for a high RPM drive that uses SATA II with enough space to suit you as well as a disk that has ample write cache which proves to be very useful in Vista and Windows 7, as well as some other operating systems. Nothing worse than getting a...

    Tips to Cleanup Your Harddisk

Now a days, considering people have DSL, cable or Fiber Optic Internet available to them, I will typically clear a person's browser cache as well as limit the cache to no more than 8MB of disk space (that's all you really need). The temp files, yes Windows is a monster when it comes down to it...
