Kind of, you can have mywebsite.com and sub.mywebsite.com . You can also have multiple "sites" using sub-directories. Example: mywebsite.com/blog , mywebsite.com/moo , mywebsite.com/forum

I've had no problem with the auto-updates and currently using 4.8 on xo7.x10hosting.com . Enable debug mode and see if you have any errors.

Well the upload_max_filesize is 2M so that might be the issue with 3MB files.

Do you have a .htaccess in /public_html ? If so, try renaming it to .htaccess.txt and seeing if that makes a difference.

Need a lot more info to help you. What error do they receive? (is it same error for all 4 people?) What ISP are they using? Where are they located? Can they access your site via VPN or Proxy? Can they access your site via username.x10host.com? Traceroute results?
