Sharp and KDDI (Japan) Unveil Solar Powered Waterproof Mobile

I love how innovative the Japanese are with their devices, seriously! There isn't much talk time on it so it seems with the solar power without a fully charged battery, but it is great especially for those people who don't charge their phones nightly and who spend all day "txting." Would make a...

    Good MB/Graphics Card

There's nothing wrong with Radeon cards. I'm just a big fan of nVidia though hence why I use them. ATi does in fact make faster cards for less money though (one of the ATi cards I know of completely creams nVidia's Fastest Tesla card and it does more!). I am against on-board cards though, as if...

    AMD Phenom II x4 955 v Intel i7 920

Personally I use an Intel i7 here in my rig. It's a nice chip, not as overclockable as the Core 2 Quad chips are but it does require DDR3 memory which I assume you know already. As per battling an AMD, you could look for some benchmarks online as I haven't used any AMD chips here for a little...

    Telecoms package

That's a violation of Net Neutrality! Looks like we have to plan to disconnect another country from the internet now, eh? ;) :P But in all honesty, if my provider were to do anything like that, they'd be dropped as soon as I found out and they would not be getting any "WTFETF" money from me...

Cannot connect to the internet with XP

I know, it can be a bit confusing at first, but that's networking. Just wait to see what you're going to be smacked with if you were to take a Cisco class though. I don't even know half of what is Cisco material :\ Basically, the way I see it, you are using your old DSL modem from back when...

It is a lot of work. I had to find an old PC around my home that is good enough for the job, install Linux, optimize it, tweak it, install some apps to it, configure the hardware, lock it all down and harden the Linux system down, set it up as a router, and then start creating rules and such...

Cannot connect to the internet with XP

I know for a fact you are on Optimum Online and not Verizon anymore. You posted your public IP address above which I used to trace to find out if you have Cable or DSL. Well, let's see here. From looking around online, the Zoom ADSL X5 is an ADSL modem + router combo unit. The Motorola...

    Anyone like Pokemon anymore?

I lost my taste for Pokemon a few years ago, so I still like them, I just won't actively pick up on it anymore.

Cannot connect to the internet with XP

Could you tell me what cable modem you have as well as the model of the hub you have? I think I know what the problem may be.

Cannot connect to the internet with XP

In that case, the PC isn't getting a proper IP range. What brings up another question though is this: Are you plugged directly into a cable modem? I see that your IPv4 address is in fact your public IP address! If you have a router, you should not be pulling your Public IP address, and in fact...

AMD athlon 1.4ghz vs celeron 2.6ghz

MySQL, PHP and HTTP/DNS working together isn't very CPU intensive depending on what you're doing. Before I moved to x10Hosting, my Linux router was also a web server. It has a Pentium III 600Mhz processor on it and it was able to generate pages quite quickly.

Are you sure that the tracker virus came from the site and didn't come from any ads that might have been on the page? I didn't bother to check out the site here at all yet, but the crap that comes with advertisements (tracking cookies, malware infested Java files, etc) besides just seeing flashy...

So I just downloaded the extra content for Fallout 3 (XBox 360 version)....

Nailed that on the top of the head. The Lost and the Damned was itself some nice downloadable content (I saw it). Frankly in my opinion, if you want me to buy the downloadable content, you better give me something that's going to last me more than a few hours, and the content better be a...

how many of you get a domain name through x10 credits

No idea. One Steam friend who has an account here needed some money for a game, so I tossed him some credits towards a game (as payment for him buying me a game in the past), and then other members basically PMd me for some credits, and since I didn't have any plans to use them, I just gave...
