You entered wrong port for SMTP connection. SMTP port is 25 for non-SSL and 465 for SSL Also if you are using SSL conection then Server should be "yourservername.x10hosting.com" instead of your main domain.

Yes Shared SSL is available for Free users. You can access your Shared SSL at http://servername.x10hosting.com/~cpanelusername/ Replace server name and cpanel username with yours.

are you able to login on cPanel? What is your cPanel username?

You need to find windows based hosting which is best to host asp, x10hosting is based on linux.
