I do not see any error when I go to that page or when I try to log in. What gives the error? What is the message? If you are getting errors, do not use @ until you solve your problems.

Are you trying to access this from outside of x10hosting? If so, it is not possible. If this is a script on x10hosting, then the host name is 'localhost'

Try using: header("Location: http:yoursitenamehere.com/home.php"); with, of course, your actual site name. ie, use a complete URI.

Remote access to the MySQL server on the Free Hosting accounts is disabled with no exceptions.

Not available on free servers. Doesn't look like the paid hosting servers either. You would have to get a VPS here.

Should be with .php extension. Can be anywhere in public_html or a subdirectory ( if in public_html/scripts/test for example, the URL would be mysite.com/scripts/test/newfile.php [try not to use Capitals or special characters in file/directory names )

Headers work here. Many setups on "localhost" are incredibly lax, while most large servers require that you do things correctly. If you give an example of something that works on "localhost" but not here, we can tell you the cause of the problem.

cPanel --> FileManager --> open public_htlm/.htaccess in their editor and remove the redirect. If you do not know how to remove the redirect, post the contents of your .htaccess file here and we can tell you.
