And just like everyone else who gets suspended for nulled scripts, you won't get anything from x10hosting.
You're owed no favors by them anyways - you violated the TOS and US Copyright Law - what reason would x10 have to -want- to give you a file you're supposed to have a backup of per the TOS...
He's not sure, he's suggesting that as a possibility. It's one worth investigating I think though - even if it's not excessive load it might not hurt to peek and make sure the Boru sql setup is holding out as well as the other servers. Boru's new so many something's not quite 100% efficient...
Because you've been permanently suspended for violating x10's TOS and US Copyright Law, which x10hosting must obey as the datacenter is located in the USA.
Your account will remain suspended until it is erased, end of story. You've gotten the message from the highest staff member available, so...
Nulled software violated US Copyright Law and under US Copyright Law and the x10Hosting Zero Tolerance policy your account can't be unsuspended. Doing so would violate copyright law by essentially making x10 the distributor of illegal software.
Corey doesn't feel like paying that particular...
Just been informed on IRC that I'm a moron, the blue/orange suspension page I'm seeing is the -new- cpanel suspension page. So it's not as messed up as I thought, so now we really -are- just waiting for staff since it's x10's suspension page >_<
Sorry for misleading anyone with that post...
Jumping in, it's now showing a more fancy suspended account page that isn't one of x10's; in any case the original account on x10hosting is still showing suspended for exceeding 100 emails an hour, so what it looks like is somehow his domain is still pointing to another webhost, and he's...
It did, the part I was debating was the definition of file hosting:
I bolded the two key parts; I was under the impression an image board counted as image hosting, which is a type of file hosting and thus violated TOS.
Anyways we solved that part, it's that first bolded part you're mentioning...
Is that from line 156 in insert.php? I'm hoping you're about to say "no it's from somewhere else," cause the error's on 156 and I can't see a problem with that line at all given the code you pasted for the $dbinf stuff :(
Assuming localhost fails, yours is the backup - I'm pretty sure x10's got it set up so localhost forwards it to the correct server anyways, but with the recent server changes with cpanel upgrades I'm not sure if it's the same as before :(
It's an older post so I won't blame you for it not coming up in a search - it's so old you'dve had to wade through something like 20+ pages of people who got suspended for it before you'd actually find the info you needed :)
Luckly I've got it bookmarked just for this occasion...
There's been some troubles using it at times, but yeah it's enabled. There is currently a cap of 100 emails per hour on the free servers though - if you exceed that it'll suspend the account, but even that's fixable (it's not a zero-tolerance permanent suspension).
Should be all set, just...
I'm guessing that's not his; the site you just mentioned has posts from october and november, and the OP said they were gone 4-5 months, not 2 or so. My -guess- is someone happened to pick the same subdomain he had, and now there's an account there that's not actually his.
@liguehs: to be...
On the first one yeah; that was my understanding at least. I thought image board was essentially image magick, the x10 stance on it is that it's more like a forum.
As for the second one, no copyright infringement, no porn, etc. The usual no-no's :)
Mine's heavily skewed, I'll explain why after the image:
I'm on 5MegaBit, it should be showing about 5Mb/sec up, but Charter started that whole speed-boost thing now so for short bursts, it goes about 5x as fast. Hence the 24.
Still like it though.
