I got the same error message few days back ! while logging to cPanel but after few mins. It got back to normal !

Ok.... Heres the error ! Im trying to upload a 28mb file and with filezilla it uploads to abt 18% (5mb) then it says "connection timed out" and it tries to connect automatically.... gets back to 18% and again "connection timed out" and it keeps on happening ! and after several error loops it...

Well It always comes up with an error, and when I go to my cpanel to view if the file has been uploaded (even partially) but I don't find anything there.... Everything uploads successfully but the 25mb file ! I have tried with a 17mb file aswell... No results....! I'm using "core ftp"

Thanks a lot ! So how can i block directory folders like the folder where all my images are or all downloadable files etc. so that they cannot be viewed by just typing like www.mydomainname/files and have the access to all the images/files that i have in my public_html directory.
